What are Cavitations?

Before diving into the benefits of CaviTAU scans, it's important to understand what dental cavitations are. Cavitations, also known as dental cavitations or ischemic osteonecrosis, are areas of dead tissue in the jawbone that have been caused by poor blood flow. Introducing CaviTAU Scan for Cavitation Diagnosis

CaviTAU scans are a relatively new technology that use high-frequency sound waves to create an image of the jawbone. Unlike traditional x-rays and CBCT scans, CaviTAU scans can identify even the smallest cavitations, making them a much more reliable diagnostic tool.

Advantages of CaviTAU Scan over Traditional Methods

There are numerous advantages to using CaviTAU scans for cavitation diagnosis, including:

  • More accurate diagnosis: CaviTAU scans can identify even the smallest cavitations, making them a more reliable diagnostic tool.

  • Non-invasive: CaviTAU scans are non-invasive and painless, making them a great option for patients who are sensitive to traditional dental x-rays.

  • Quick results: CaviTAU scans can be completed in just a few minutes, allowing for a quicker diagnosis and treatment plan.

  • Safe: CaviTAU scans do not expose patients to harmful radiation, making them a safer diagnostic tool for patients.
